Background
Bruce is one of the company’s long standing Directors. He began his career in Chartered Accountancy in 1967 and was made a partner with Ernst & Young in 1977, before the practise became Staples Rodway. Since then he has accumulated over 30 years experience as a chartered accountant, including two years in the Calgary Office of Ernst & Young.Specialist Areas
Bruce has developed a large portfolio of professional clients for whom he provides financial advice specialising in business and share valuations, financial restructuring, investment advice, estate planning and trusteeships.Personal Interests
As well as always being available for his clients Bruce has numerous voluntary roles, for more than 20 years he has contributed to a range of community organisations. Among them are his current positions as Director and Deputy Chairman of TSB Bank Limited and Trustee of the Taranaki Festival of Arts as well as acting as an honorary auditor for a number of community groups and charities. In 2008 Bruce was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit recognising his lengthy commitment to the Taranaki community.And on top of all of that Bruce can always find time to indulge his almost lifelong passion for surfing and snowboarding. With three children who are all national representatives in their sporting fields he has to stay on top of his game to keep up with them!
