Andrea Stevenson

Background
Andrea holds a Masters in Social Science (awarded with Honours) with a double major in Human Resources and Organisational Psychology. For the last 10 years, Andrea has been self employed as an organisational psychology consultant with a particular interest and skill set in personality and ability assessment. Prior to that, she has held roles in human resources and worked in career management and planning.
Andrea is a member of the Human Resource Institute of NZ (HRINZ) and works hard to keep abreast of legislative changes and the latest HR strategies. Specialist Areas
Andrea heads up our new Human Resource division. She brings with her a range of human resource skills and specialises in helping clients get the best from employees from selection through to management and development. She specialises in delivering to clients the right solutions for their HR requirements. Personal Interests
Outside of work for Andrea, family is priority along with house, garden and various sporting endeavours.

Andrea has significant experience in :
- Developing and implementing HR practices, procedures and policies (including recruitment and performance management).
- Working with clients to ensure legislative compliance from employment contracts through to performance management and dismissal.
- Development (individual, team and leadership) specifically through identifying strengths and weaknesses in individuals and matching the ‘fit’ with the organisation, role, and team, as well as working with individuals independently for development.
- Career transition – including outplacement, planning and development.
