Background
Mark has recently joined the Staples Rodway Corporate Advisory team as Associate Director. Mark has over 6 years ‘Big 4’ experience and 4 years overseas commercial experience.
Mark is passionate about working closely with businesses to assist their growth by helping them to devise the best strategy, assess the right management information, put in place robust governance and by taking care of their financial reporting and tax compliance obligations. Mark is a published author in various magazines on governance, internal control and management and has a particular interest in the land and property sector. Specialist Areas

- Implementation of management reporting mechanisms including the amalgamation of world-wide information at Barclays Bank, London.
- Due Diligence and business acquisition advice.
- Governance and internal control including the facilitation of training in Kenya for the Finance Directors of Barclay Bank, African business and author for internal control article for Management magazine.
- Organisational change programmes including definition of target business operating models, roles and responsibilities and devising transition plans.
- Process reengineering including the elimination of man hours from the Credit Risk Reporting process at Credit Suisse First Boston, London.
- Advising New Zealand property and construction consultants on development strategy and funding.
- Carrying out strategy reviews for a number of entities across a broad range of industries.
