Background
Andrew Turner is a senior manager within Corporate Advisory having joined Staples Rodway for 2 years between 2004 and 2006 and again in January 2009. Andrew has accumulated 11 years of experience, both locally, in Canada and the United Kingdom, principally in the chartered accounting environment with 2 years spent in the commercial sector. He has had experience in auditing, taxation, consulting, corporate recovery (liquidations, receivership, business turnaround) and as a financial controller. He is a member of both the New Zealand and Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants. Specialist Areas
He has an interest in adding value to businesses with solvency issues and assisting clients with turning around their business. Andrew is a member of Insol and is engaged in the area of corporate recovery, performance enhancement, investigative accounting and managed workouts in Staples Rodway Limited. In this capacity, his focus is on businesses in distress, creditor management and compromises, financial workouts, limited scope reviews, liquidations and receiverships, together with providing practical long term business solutions. Andrew enjoys watching all sports with a particular interest in basketball and English football. He also enjoys playing basketball, disc golf and travelling extensively.

Andrew has significant experience in :
- Conducting receiverships and liquidations.
- Risk, limited scope and accounting reviews.
- Advising clients on taking security over advances and realising such security in enforcement scenarios in relation to the Personal Property Securities Act 1999.
- Working with under achieving companies in a turnaround capacity to help them improve their performance.
