Geetesh Raniga
(CA, BMS, LLB)
Background
Geetesh Raniga joined Staples Rodway Auckland in 2002 and became a Partner in the firm’s Business Advisory and Assurance division in 2007. Geetesh was employed in the audit division of an international accounting firm prior to joining Staples Rodway. He specialises in audit services, management advisory services, prospectus reviews and due diligence reviews. Throughout his career Geetesh has had extensive experience working on the audits of public companies, as well as small to large private companies and organisations in New Zealand.
Geetesh has a particular interest in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and provides technical advice on financial reporting issues and the application of IFRS to a number of our clients. He is an audit specialist facilitator of the Australasian CA Training Group which provides training courses to professional staff from Australia and New Zealand. Specialist Areas
Geetesh has expertise in providing audit and corporate transaction services to clients across a broad range of industries. He has gained significant experience providing services to clients within the finance, technology, manufacturing, property development, insurance, retail, wholesale/distribution, healthcare and retirement village industries. He has also been responsible for a number of audits under the mandate of Office of the Auditor General (OAG). These included the audits of Auckland District Health Board and Waitemata District Health Board. Personal Interests
Geetesh is an enthusiastic soccer player and also enjoys playing a number of other sports socially.
