Background
Chris has worked for a major accounting practice since 1981 and was appointed a Director of Staples Rodway Taranaki in 1991. In 2009 he took over as the Managing Director of Staples Rodway Taranaki and is a member of the Board of Directors of Staples Rodway New Zealand Limited, Staples Rodway Asset Management Limited and Staples Rodway Superannuation Limited. Chris manages the New Plymouth office Tax practice and also has a broad based Business Advisory Services practice, incorporating financial and taxation restructuring and share and business valuation. Since 1998 he has specialised in providing expert tax advice to corporates and individuals, and has works extensively with clients in the property and engineering industries. His advice has a particular emphasis on establishing tax efficient structures through which clients can conduct their business activities. Personal Interests
Being an avid sportsfan influences Chris’s voluntary roles including an active involvement as a Trustee for the New Plymouth YMCA. Although he no longer plays rugby he can often be found on the sidelines supporting or in the tea room debating the finer details of the game with staff.
