Lindsay Dick

Background

Lindsay has a strong background in agriculture which he brings to his work at Staples Rodway. A Canterbury University Commerce graduate, he started out farming and leasing land for seven years before focusing on the accounting side of the fence. Lindsay became a Staples Rodway Director in 1985.

Lindsay performs a wide range of accounting work for professionals and businesses and is the staff director with an interest in employment issues.

Specialist Areas

He has a keen interest in all things agricultural and particularly in horticulture and viticulture. This expertise is acknowledged in the wider community with Lindsay regularly being asked to speak at conferences on agricultural accounting , tax and trust issues.

Personal Interests

Viticulture carries over to his outside interests, which feature running a small non-commercial vineyard at Waiau, making and drinking good wine, and is past secretary of the Wine and Food Society. He is married with three daughters and relaxes playing golf, reading, gardening and travelling.
